Slow Freight

Freight has slowed way down at our terminal in Tn. Is it just our area or is it that way trough out the system. Have been really excited about the buyout and all the things we have been told were going to take place, just hope it does'nt take to long not sure we could make it long with the big freight drop off we have had. Just wondering and concerned.

it is slow.ups freight must be out there cutting rates cause there driver told me this morning they are booming. the richmond hub is very slow,

Up north it doesn't seem bad we are doing pretty well and this week has been really busy so far although it is end of the month.

Our freight has picked up so I told by our terminal manager. I still making my 11 hours a night run. Thank God.

up in Northern IL we have been slow the 1st part of the week and then running hard by the end of the week:horse:

freight in columbus,oh has been steady all month.

all the trucking companies are slow. After the election on two weeks hope we see a bounce. Freight is always slow in an election year.

People are unsure about what our government is up to.
Thats the time most people will save their money,instead of spending any of it.

People get scared off from buying products over different time periods.

But when christmas comes around,most people will charge their brains out to make their buisness accociates,customers,and loved ones happy with the gifts that are purchased for them.
This is just the way our country operates.
Sometimes it doesn't take that much to scare off the american public from spending their money.
No spending hurts everyone.
There has to be goods to truck.
The first industry thats effected by slow purchasing is the trucking industry.
When trucking drops off you know our economy has slowed down,when trucking is doing well you know our economy is booming.

Thats life in these United States.

Slow everywhere, FXFE STL canceled all kinds of runs all last week, slowest I've seen it in 9 yrs, hopefully it'll rebound after the New Year.
