Who has seniorty first? Company or Contractor

What was the result of this 4 hour closed door meeting as it relates to you?

This was not at my hub, so it doesn't relate to me directly. I was imformed about it by person from that hub. I'll let ya know what changed or didn't change as it may be when I speak with him again next week.

Over here at FXN we are doing away with the contractors. We have phased out the P&D drivers (Some of them came on as Company Drivers) and now we are phasing out the Contractors Line Haul Drivers. Some of these contractors have more than one truck on with us and have hired drivers for them and some of them have been with watkins for a few years. My question is this. Who has more senority, the company driver that has been there 6 months (me) or will the contractor be allowed to dove tail in over me because he has been a contractor longer than I have been a company driver. What is FED X policy on this?

The way it has always been. Company always come s first.
