From what I've seen lately, they don't need road drivers at all at the hub I go to every night. Swift, Knight, JBHunt, and many others can't get throught the gate fast enough.

That may be why we haven't rebid. All the runs that they are talking about adding are economy and freight going one way.

You must be cheesey popcorn to ask a question like that. I really don't get what it is you are asking. Help me out here. I'm only a (short haul) truck driver (Fedex freight doesn't have any long haul drivers ... that was Fedex National ).So what exactly is an economy road driver ? Anyway there seems to be both kinds of freight on my pups every nite so I guess I'm half priority and half economy. That means I'm needed half as much as a full priority road driver. Really now ...
