I live to far away to have heard anything much from CMH. but you stated 'rebid'?
Make sure if it's a rebid or a bump bid. Big difference in the process. We've had some problems around here since the merge with that.
Some of the ex national managers aren't familiar with the difference between the two.

Dang it. Isn't CMH already in the top 5 or 6 largest terminals in the system? But, CGT is at capacity on the Economy Hub operation. And the Joliet, Illinois hub is still over a year away.

They're supposed to build a new hub center in Joliet IL to replace the CGX (Chicago summit) hub.

I've almost been hit by a train twice there. First time was Going across tracks when the arms came down. By the time I got the rear box off the track it appeared to have been somewhat a close call. The second time I had the tractor on the first set of tracks. The arms started going down. Quickly put it into reverse and hoping nobody was behind me floored it backwards. The train was flying threw before the arms were completely down. So either the trains are moving to fast through there or the safety sensors need to be fixed. It would also help if there weren't three sets of track at different levels. And the building and the yard is a POS.
