Since its likely that everyone is not calling in on the 31st how about this: Do it by the book. I mean go all out...the whole 9. Lock your tractor and trailer door each and every stop. Put you d r's in order and take your lunch and stop the truck for the whole 30 minutes. Use thier own mandates to slow down. Surely this will affect SPH. At least if they retaliate you have a leg to stand on.

There were several of us on the hub that would do that, run the lift at a brisk walk, deck everything, basic by the book stuff, then come cut time the supervisors would go out their mind, coming at them with freight at a brisk walk and they have minutes to close, it worked, we got our point across and some of the BS let up, that was in OKC years ago.
I ain't got no panties on

Hi, I'm GT, and I'm just a number, of little to no value.

yes thats a good idea too, we are talking about road not city, people are losing their jobs here, some people think well its freds company, well it is, but there is no reason for people to be losing there jobs period, we should be hiring more people get rid of outside carriers, and the rail is a joke, if they cant make money like we did in the af days, take care of your people and customers, i believe they are in the wrong business, they say they are losing money now, just wait until next quarter, fedex needs to run this machine like a trucking company, man what has happened to common sense in this world, guess im getting old and the world is changing, just like that bellamy brothers song hes an old hippie, this will be my last post for a while, unless a find another job, then i will say my good byes, good luck and God bless to all those who have lost theire jobs and to those that have been reduced to rubble by the grinding giant we know as corparate america
