Love: the pay, good people to work with.
Hate: the lack of security or peace of mind in regards to whether I will have a job from day to day.
Love my paycheck, usually.
Love the memories of what it used to be.
Dislike my local uppermanagement team.
Hate what has happened to this company.
Hate the term hub discretion.
I enjoy the camaraderie with my fellow drivers, the part time office staff and shop guys.
I absolutely HATE the secrecy, the deception, the disregard and disrespect coming from management.
I hate that they make taking time off almost impossible, if it were up to the company, we would work 24/7 like robots!!
My pay is decent. Can't complain much over that.

To potential new hires. Even though you love your job at FXF and set out every day and give 100% in regards to... Safety, attitude, pick-ups, deliveries, proper paperwork, pretrips, post-trips, and following all the policies put in place. You're most likely going to come up short a time or two and that is enough to get you fired. Of course this all depends on your local management.
I absolutely love my job. I'm retired from Fedex Freight. Uncle Freddy sends me his love the first of the month. That's the good news.
Things I think could be done to improved the company: Communication is a big issue. Harrison has taken the stand that no news is good news. Employees feel insecure when they don't know in which direction the company is heading, and this effects their work. Customer Service: Our on time percentage is an unknown factor, and FXF thinks they have solved the problem with economy and expedite freight. All they have actually done is confuse the customer. FXF tried to put YRC out of business with cheap freight, and that didn't work.
I think wages and benefits are up to industry standards, but I would like to see better training for middle management, and training for dock workers who want to advance into driving. I would like to see more runs for line haul, but that's not going to happen until we go back to Customer Service. Just my thoughts, I could be wrong. TP

I like the pay, all the new equipment, great co-workers and friends. I hate everybody in the saftey department exept for 2 people, I hate the uniforms, I hate the people who have an I dont care attitude, I hate these new intermecs, and I hate the term "I'll look into it for you".
