The next best thing

So with all the freight on the rail and purchase transportation, and we're selling just about half of our trucks it seems. I'm asking what is the job that is the next best job? I don't think anyone plays as good unless it's one of the union driving companies that we all know and I think most of them are in similar situations? I also know not many companies can match this lifestyle of being home everyday. So I know most of you are probably like me and have been looking so what have you found? WHAT'S NEXT?

I've been thinking about going to Landstar. Run Monday thru Thursday. Be home Thursday night or Friday morning. Pick where you want to go. If you want to take a month off they don't care. But if you need to have someone tell you what to do its not for you.

I dunno, RC is of the opinion that as far as OTR goes, Walmart is a class act in a class of their own.

The trucks are being replaced...you'll see huge numbers of shiny new ones the next few months....I personally won't miss the KW's. Maybe Vitran will buy them on the cheap....
