One of our drivers was telling me that our fearless new leader doesn't think we deserve to be paid as well as we do for the job that we do. Funny I don't see him on the dock sweating busting a hump to move any freight when its 120 in the summer and 10 degrees in the winter. If they get around to talking pay cut they better start looking for a bunch of drivers because that is the only thing that is keeping some of us old hands around anyway. It sure ain't the benefits or lack there of that's making us hang around as we watch shiney wheels haul our freight as our fellow drivers sit at home or get re-aligned out of a job.

Yeah which leader? It is very disheartning the way this place operates the way local supervision tslks to its people and st tbe hubs the treatment and the way the equiptment is cared for or should say not taken care of, the handhelds for the road operation are a joke, most of the chargers dont work in the trucks, the cigarete lighter chargers are a hot comodity heck dont leave one in a truck it will be stolen, uh just very frustrating they tie oir pays to those refurbished POS cn3's and now we they wont order new chargers for trk or get you a cig lighter o.e for everyone heck we dont even have a spare handheld if one craps out on us, the paycheck is the only thing thst keeps me and many others going if not for kids and wife to take care of been long gone long ago sad to say I have quite a few years in here but that doesnt mean ANYTHING anymore and not just at this place either!

OK! Did you just beam down from the enterprise? The handheld works well, if you understand it properly. As for the charging station, most barns in my neck of the woods are pretty good about fixing them ASAP (That means "as soon as possible"). There are lots of complete A-holes in CA who are refusing to use the handheld, which is the reason Kiosk was terminated. The only way to get payed is to use the HH. <<<That's short for HandHeld. Are we all on the same page now? You must use the HH, if the vector doesn't work, tell dispatch and deadline the tractor. If the charging station doesn't work, deadline the tractor, and for those that don't understand that, the A-Hole that drives my truck during the day, when you deadline a piece of equipment, physically take it to the shop and park it there, and tell the mechanics why you parked it there. Don't leave it on the ready line and whine that the A-Holes in the shop didn't fix it.

The shop needs you to take the vehicle to them.

If the hand helds are not working your center needs to be sending them to Memphis. I'm on light duty right now and have gotten about 30 fixed. I have another 5 to send in next week. It's a simple process. They also have a quick turnaround. As for the charging stations from what I heard most of the parts are on back order. The cig. lighter chargers very expensive 10 cost $5,000. I know because I ordered them and had to get it arrived because of the ammount.
