On Tuesday, June 5, 2012 the County Sheriff’s Office, working in conjunction with the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (D.E.A.), executed a Search Warrant. where they located and seized 105 Marijuana plants in different stages of growth in the basement of the residence. The North Carolina Department of Revenue—Unauthorized Substances Tax Division was later called in to assist with the investigation.
The Marijuana plants, equipment used to facilitate the growing of the plants, 4 vehicles, a 21’ Triton fishing boat, 9 firearms and $4,000 cash were seized in the raid. I can understand the Marijuana plants, equipment used to facilitate the growing of the plants, 9 firearms and $4,000 cash being seized, but the 4 vehicles, and the 21’ Triton fishing boat? What reason did they have for seizing them?

Do you think those shiny new Dodge Chargers pay for themselves?

Law enforcement agencies are nothing but for profit businesses that employ thugs with badges.

Often wondered when the cash is reported in those drug busts.
If the entire amount is accounted for,or what remains after the raiders get their cut?

LOL...you'd have to be in a "high" rent area to find a house with a basement in NC
