We may not have been as demonic as some Countries like North Korea and Africa, yet we're no angels.

Oppressive Governments have always stepped on the rights of the individual: this is humanities history. The moment the Bill of Rights and Constitution were written tyrants began trying to find a way to circumvent it! The reason why ANY PERSONAL RIGHTS were violated is because THE GOVERNMENT WAS NOT CONTAINED, AND PERSONAL RIGHTS WERE IGNORED......Like the Personal liberties contained in the Constitution.

Law not only needs to be written, it needs a correct application. The Constitution says more about limiting Government intrusion into our personal liberties. I suggest you read it. The flaw is not in the law, it is in the application of the law. That is where we have failed.

We elect greedy, ambitious people into office and for some reason we act surprised when they act greedy and ambitious. Government was to be the servant of the people, today we the people have become the servant of the Government. It is a wonder we have made it as far as we have.

You find fault with this country? Fine. Go elsewhere and see how much freedom of speech you have. At least here in America you are permitted your bold display of ignorance.

Divine Providence would suggest WE ALL GET ALONG and cooperate, not trample upon those we do not understand, as HISTORY VERIFIES.

WE seceded from the British yet have become akin to the British as far as wanton control of the world but that's probably due to Divine Providence.

So everything contained in the Constitution and Bill of Rights is getting shoved to the side. It may be that we have violated American rights to the point that we have silenced those that may have been the leaders of the free world. It is like the bold display of ignorance....most Americans are ignorant of the foundations of their own Government! Thus any thing they say is not only misguided, it is also pointless because it becomes a matter of opinion. An opinion that is based on misinformation provided by School programing by the Government doesn't teach the Constitution as legit.

Either the Constitution is central or it is not. If the first amendment grants you freedom of speech and expressing yourself lands you in prison? We are becoming no better than Nazi Germany with it's little brownshirts running around, watching. So we raise up a generation that will prosecute those who cling to the Bill of Rights or the Constitution calling them radicals.

As far as "Divine Providence" goes, I am sure Adolf Hitler was convinced he was following "Divine Providence" as he condemned six million Jew and Gypsies to their death....that is after working them into becoming useless to the Father land. While G-d looked on.

We humans are an arrogant lot.

I will tell you that the same God that is with me everywhere, is the same God, the one true God who hears, sees, and knows all. "Endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights". We take office swearing an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against enemies both foreign and domestic.......What if the biggest enemy of the Constitution becomes the Government itself?

I guess that is why we have the 2nd amendment! For a little while anyway.
