Ray, check out this site for some health tips without any drugs. No to be confused with "cure all" cures, but for real health advantages. I've brought my Blood Pressure down by 28 points in the past year.Well it's been quite a fun couple of weeks for me last week I was told there's a good chance I might have to have my hip replacement done again as it might be loosing small particles of titanium, then yesterday I saw my local Dr about some blood tests that were done awhile back & she informs me that I have Diabetes & Pernicious anemia & will need vitamin B2 injections every month plus I have to change my diet quite a bit, I am beginning to wonder what the hell else can be thrown at me I often think I must have done something bad in another life & it's pay back time but I guess like I have always done I will just get back up & brush the dust off & carry on down life's highway.
I took my 2 Grandsons Jack & Sam to see The Amazing Spider man in 3D on Thursday & Linde & my Daughter & Grand daughter went & did shopping & girly things, man are the movies expensive down here, it cost $44Nz for me & the 2 kids aged 9 & 7 plus another $30 bucks for drinks, popcorn & candy & the Hoyt's theaters moan about not enough people go to the movies, HELLO could you be over charging? $70Nz for Poppa & 2 kids is blatant theft I was tempted to tell them to shove the movie where the sun don't shine but the kids were so looking forward to seeing spider man, Hoyt's also put a maze of drink, candy, popcorn & other stuff to entice you to buy before you get to the entrance to get into where the theaters are your like cattle being lead to the killing shed, I told the kids when I was there age I used to go & hunt in the pockets of my sisters coats to find a few pennies or a sixpenny bit(5 cent coin) or if I was lucky a half a crown (25cent coin) I could catch the tramcar to the movies, buy some candy,an ice cream & tram fare back home all for 5 cents well they just looked up at me like I was dreaming, they couldn't credit doing all that for 5 cents boy how the world has changed I remember back in 1967 when we changed to Dollars & cents I worked for NZ express co driving local freight & doing airfreight at night, I did quite long hours & my first pay in dollars was $12NZ but I can't remember the cents but $12 bucks a week was good money those days, imagine getting payed that today for a weeks work.
