I did push-ups, sit-ups, jumping jacks and leg lifts for over an hour because I had pogie bait fall out of my pocket.

I also had to suffer by getting into a kneeling firing position with the M-16 held horizontally with full canteens on the muzzle, If It lowered more than a few inches, it was back to push-up, sit ups, etc. All because another Marine could not qualify on the range.

My drill Sgt said I would push Ft Leonard Wood in the ground before I left that place. My smart alec attitude kept me in shape. Good luck to the marine. When I hear someone mention push up these days, I'm looking for ice cream on a stick

It felt like I did a million squat thrusts in boot camp. Ever swim in the sand or have an m-14 locked onto your thumb because you screwed up dress-right-dress. How about *******s to bellybuttons. Don't get me wrong, USMC boot camp and the whole military experience was a good start in my life at eighteen years old.

Wish I was 18 again. I think I'd hide from the outside world and continue where I left off and keep wasting everyones tax dollars

    Lot of stories to tell!!

My D.I got up close and personal at me. I was the only one not yelled at yet so he decided to pick on me and start yelling for no reason. (Seriously he had nothing to yell about, he just freaking started yelling)
The brim of his Campaign Cover kept hitting me on the forehead and the spit coming from his mouth was landing in my eye.
I tilted my head back, started wiping my eyes of spit and got the hell bent out of me for moving. LOL...I'll never forget Boot camp either..It was fun....but I'd never do it again.

I low crawled under barb wire and rocks, my elbows were bleeding. Anyone who put there sleeves down to prevent cut got tortured.

I only have one faith. I swear I would go to every mass available regardless of what faith it was. I just went to stay out of the D.I's target. (Learned a lot though)

    LOL. No girly ones allowed.

You can do the one arm, two finger push up. Just one. You got all day.
