CASTING DRIVERS FOR NEW TV SHOW - Florida area

Hi everyone - I'm a casting producer currently looking for drivers in the Florida area for a new show about an established, independent trucking company. We're looking for people under the age of 35 to join the company and be a part of a new television series for a major cable network. *Note: this is not a racing or competition show.

Are you an out of work driver looking to get back on the road?

Are you an established driver who considers yourself the best of the best?

Have you always wanted to be OTR but never taken the steps to make it happen?

We want to hear your stories!

To apply or get more information, please send an email telling us why you'd be great for the show and include your work experience, licenses & certifications, current employment status and recent photo.

A producer will be in touch to discuss the details of the show and next steps for the casting process.

    Email: rmcasting [at] redmarblemedia.net

    Many thanks!

I was all ready to sign on until I got to the 35 or under part. I'm a 61 year old retired trucker and it probably wouldn't have worked out anyway, your cameraman most likely would have had a hard time dealing with my chronic flatulence.

I was going to refer Magoo (Tampa, unemployed) until the same part (s). They'd have to film him in his easy chair....

Anyway, welcome RMCasting! Best of Luck in your search! (I'm waaaaaay tooo old).......

This 61 year old retired Roadway city driver is only concerned with drawing social security income starting in 2013.

I hate to say this to those who may meet these folks qualifications.
But this add really looks fishy to me,they are looking for to much personal information.
Before they reveal a little more of what the job may involve.

This may even be spam, and if so it may be deleted before long.

So a word to the wise be carful about your personal information going to folks you know nothing about.

Red Marble Media produces documentaries on the Science, History and Animal channels. They are a young company(2009), but they have made some shows. I'm with Apostolic, don't give out too much info up front.

seems to sound like discrimination to me, to hold the age line to 35. this producer must think that the rest of us are not as experienced or dedicated anymore. i hope he feels good about trying to set us on the curb for trash day.
