Well my eldest son who lives in Australia has just come back from 3 weeks vacation in Hawaii, him his wife & 3 yr old son & he tells me it's a beautiful place & they had a wonderful time there, he sent us a parcel which arrived yesterday & in side was a baseball cap for me with hang loose Hawaii on it & a bead bracelet for my missus we were pleased to receive the gifts but you know what the labels all said genuine Hawaiian headgear/bracelet then it said ? yep you guessed it MADE IN CHINA.
Don't you get pissed off with every bloody thing being made in China ? I sure do, what really shytes me is that they get all this stuff made in China at 3/4s of the price it cost to make in the US/NZ etc but they still sell it at the same price as it would have been if made in the US/NZ etc there by bloody profiteering, not much use me moaning because I am just farting agains't thunder really.

Ray, the people in the US have made China a wealthy nation. Every home in the US is packed full of useless China made trinkets. This junk was bought because it was cheap. Every trip to WalMart was an excuse to bring home items that were put on a shelf to gather dust. For most shoppers the country of origin means nothing. If there are two items on the shelf, one made in the US & one made in China for pennies less guess which one will be sold regardless of quality. Sometime back I was in a store & a man who had recently been laid off from a manufacturing job was complaining about his job being sent to China. As he went through the checkout I looked at the items he was paying for & almost every one was made in China. I have no sympathy for anybody that loses their job if they buy anything not made in the USA. I would feel the same way if I lived in NZ & people bought China made products when there were items made in country available.

Please remember also that China is still trying to poison and kill our pets. Nearly all of the Chicken jerky treats on the market are made in China and dogs are still getting sick from these. Make sure you know where the food you give your dog is coming from. Its so bad, higher income Chiniese are importing dog food into China from the US because they know the stuff made in China will kill their dogs.

Don't want those pets dying from poison, it ruins the meat.

Hating something doesn't mean you have to boycott it. Do you realize how hard it would be to boycot Chineese imports? Case in point: buy your 'American made' Ford, GM or Chrystler. Dissassemble the car. You'd be surprised to find a high number of Chineese, Japanese and Korean made parts in it.

But there is the other problem. We don't even have a choice in buying American made or China made.......IT'S ALL CHINA MADE.

Oh, I wouldn't. But then I used to haul those parts into the GM plant in Arlington Texas.

The reason everything is made in China is because of Capatilism which = GREED & people being people(sheeple) just keep putting up with it, no matter what way you look at it it all comes down to MONEY.
We don't have Walmart down here but the same thing here is called The Warehouse & is/was modelled on Walmart, everywhere a warehouse opens dozens of hardworking Ma&Pa shops dissappear & then you see all the low life, unemployed, ferral beings coming out having wasted what little money they had on made in China shyte, but never mind I'll keep on farting agains't the thunder.

China was a communist country, last time I checked. With any business in the market, it's all about the dollar. If you want jobs back in your country, the simple answer is to stop demanding so much compensation for work. When people become too expensive to employ, employers will look at other opportunities. I love how people are quick to point the finger at big brother, when in reality big brother has little impact on the market. It's what we did to ourselves.
