Al, White is a great color. Doesn't leave behind those telltale faded marks when the decals are changed, and the equipment is swapped between "sister" companies. Also it's the easiest to peddle when you have to liquidate, a fast wash job, new decals, POOF, you're TRUCKIN!

I sometimes wonder if paint "fade" will matter. IMO it is a survival question. I guess UPS has decided that two tone livery is not needed on UPS Freight. Now all their tractors are turning brown.

If I remember correctly, I believe that the White tractors for both YRC and Holland are leased from Penske. Check the permit books.

when i work for carolina frt. way back they went to white tractors. they were leased , when abf took them over all they had to do was turn them in. makes you wonder uh!!

I heard credit is not too good with volvo.so white is cheaper
