YRC's recent COO was supposed to increase our volumes .. hence, we (Holland) went (is) on a hiring binge. Now those new, some recent, some fairly established are sitting home .. thats a way to secure good employees . ... eyup sure is. Heard YRC is busting with freight ... hmmmm

YRC gotta have them trailers loaded even if we loose money on them. In which they do 95% of the time.Sorry to report YRC has become a cancer to the LTL buisines.

Slowed down slightly in Milwaukee. They asked for a few CC days yesterday. We have about 30 part timers working still so nobody is sitting home.

also talked to some guys at Yellow and they said same as Yellow Who.....Fed Ex does have people home also.....not we have slowed down but for some reason the part timer, casual (guy looking to get hired as a driver) were left home yesterday and closing shift worked late....those 2 guys break 8 loads on average between them and cut times are made....I am not management but it is not rocket science either

The slow down could in slight part to the automotive shut down.Toyota here in
    S. Indiana is on summer shut down and most of it's supplier's or on a skeleton
crew. Times that with the rest of the country it could affect all LTL & TL.
