    Dock Doors

I'm wondering how other terminals deal with the heat, do they keep the doors down low or do they open them up to get air movement. Inbound in Milwaukee they keep them low, and plug all doors, out bound is different pull storage doors out & leave some doors open for air movement. Just wondering.......

We have filed on this closed door policy. Not getting anywhere. Every resolution is we come up with is met with the same response" OSHA prohibits the restructuring of any part of the terminal".

take a trip to the clinic or have them call a ambulance for heat stroke, it will get them doors open real quick.dont let them dictate you.

That Gatorade should help wash down that black dust that fills your throat. Is there a quick remedy for the black dust that loads up your lungs?

I spend most days hunting, fishing, and on Truckingboards. The rest of my days are just wasted.

I need to know the terminal that is getting hooks and ropes. Pics would be a real plus. I'm in a tussle with our TM on this closed door bs. Freaking heat index was 115 this week.
