Raah is a Real Time Vehicle tracker for the iPhone. The app is designed to work in the background, and the route it tracks can be viewed in Real Time on the site http://raah.co

The app is only a location tracker, viewing routes is done on the site.

From the site you can share your routes with friends and family, once shared they will be able to track all your future routes in Real Time from the site.
You can also set up location and speed alerts on the site. Whenever you are approaching or heading away from a location or go over a speed limit an automated mail alert will be sent out. You can set location and speed alerts not only for yourself but for all the people who are sharing routes with you.

The app will try to log a coordinate with the server every 10 seconds. These coordinates will be shown as a route on a map on the site. You will be able to see the speed at each point and the map will also show the total distance traveled.
The app has been designed to handle network connectivity failures, whenever you go out of network or are in a region of poor network connectivity, the app will start storing data offline and as and when you return to regions of network connectivity the offline data will get synchronized with the server.
We have tested the apps routes tracking capabilities on a long trip from Niagara Falls, NY to Chicago, IL, see screen-shot below.
The site will also maintain your entire route history, there are no data limits.
