We had a linehaul guy retire in the summer and they have not added a driver on to replace him. I doubt they will but I really can't blame them at this point and time.

i hear they are trying to get p&d drivers to switch over to g&p for awhile. ha ha .40 cent per mile, and they cut you off at 2,000 miles. that is the craziest bid i ever heard of, we have a bid sheet up at our barn, no one has signed up i wonder why.

We had a driver do that last March for 8 weeks and said he made more money there a week than at Southeastern. He said a lot of the SEFL drivers running for G & P were forced to go there and did not want to run a lot of miles so they got them home more with less miles. Our driver out of our terminal said they ran him to TX, Chicago, and gave him plenty of miles.
