Just wondering if your still Pro-Union after how they treated YRCW

Just want a few posts on how you feel about paying monthly to a Union that sold-out to YRCW and is now laying off thousands to keep its investment afloat?

I don't know what you mean by legitimate. YRCW was on the verge of bankruptsy and they still aren't out of the woods yet. Some on here complain that the unions have not changed with the times and they may be right. But the Teamsters union came up with a plan to help YRCW out of the financial hole it had dug foe itself. 20 years ago the Teamsters at YRC would have overwelmingly voted down the giveback plan. Fortunately for YRCW todays Teamsters realized that the corporation wouldn't survive without concessions. At least the YRCW Teamsters had the right to vote on the givebacks unlike any nonunion company employees.

I have a question for you...would you turn against the United States just because you don't agree with with some of the decisions made by the President? With that narrow minded post of yours..I would bet that you would.

How do you feel about paying taxes to a country that our government had committed up to $200 billion to save Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac from collapse in 2008 if you didn't agree with that? Is that a valid reason to turn on your country? Seems like kind of a ridiculous statement... does it not?

i am guessing you forgot what put yellow and roadway into the situation they are currently in..i really dont believe it was the teamsters union..
both companies might be doing fine if they had'nt been thrown together like a mud pie..

really dont think the teamsters made the decision for yellow to over extend themselves with all of their buying and put themselves on a road to ruin

i do believe the union took part in helping YRCW figure out a plan that may or may not keep them afloat..yet make it so many thousands of working men and women could continue putting food on their plates to feed their families and pay the bills...and i alsio recall it being voted on by the members before it ever happened...

I also am not understanding your question. Perhaps if you give your entire take on the union selling out. YOUR WAITING BROTHER ALWAYS!

This is a "legitimate argument"... You got to go deep with these 1 post guys... Most are just here to get people riled up.. Nothing personal against your comment, it was just too short and to the point...
