You work at a company that was nonunion until 4 years ago. Those qualities were seen as how one got ahead or kept one's job. Now things have changed but old habits die hard. I hope this answer helps answer your question.

Unionism goes against human nature. One must choose to be a unionist. Human nature is to survive at all cost. It will take 10-20 years for UPS freight to be a union company.

you guy's aint seen nothin' till hang you around public sector union employee's. they will stab you in the back, shove it up your back-side dry, cut you off at the knee's, and attempt to sell your first born, and that's before the first morning break. Teachers are the worst, they don't give a rat's ass 'bout nobody but themeselves.

That's all coming to a head by way of Scott Walker pushing back. It has spread across the land like a firestorm

When they outlaw public employees having collective bargaining rights and make it illegal for them to negotiate a contract, does that mean that all state management people are really poor in negotiating skills and can't hold their own at the bargaining table and have to resort to legal maneuvering so they could just stay in their offices, lock the doors, and issue edicts on wages and conditions?

The problem is nobody representing the tax payers are involved in the negotiation. It's a sweetheart deal. The dems get the votes..the public union employees get what they want
