The truck and both houses suffered heavy fire damage. Police say the driver of the semi was unaccounted for.
Human remains were found at the scene of the accident during the investigation. Saskatoon police said in a news release Wednesday afternoon that the a forensic anthropologist has been called to assist the police identification unit in identifying the remains.

Human remains, well DUH. These clowns are "professionals"??
The identification unit probably couldn't identify themselves, which is WHY they need assistance.

Story/Article fails to speculate on WHY ACCIDENT OCCURRED yet 3 times it states, truck left the road!!

"Reporters" are clearly NOT any smarter up there.

Been through that area many times and I can tell you, it had to be an absolute perfect storm. I swear that you could not repeat what that truck did again if you tried. He literally went off the road, down in the ditch, crawled up out of the ditch, crossed over the ramp from the other highway, went down into the next ditch, crawled out of the ditch, then crawled up a dirt berm, which by the way, is high enough you can not see the houses on the other side of it, then went through what looks like a few vacant lots to then crash into the house.

I drove by there the other day and I swear you could not get over that berm without getting the trailer hung up on it. Weirdest thing I have ever seen.

Not sure if they will ever find out what happened, apparently burnt beyond all recognition. Speed limit is around 55 there, I guess if he had a heart attack or something and had the cruise set it could happen, but wow.

Gee thanks for your observation of the crash scene Dude-PWB.
Most reports on-line leave out a lot of details.
So it is always good when some (TB) member knows the area, and posts a more detailed account.
