We are all foreiners. No one in the US is a native, not even the Indians. English is a requirement by the FMCSA.

That being said, even if you didn't speak a word of english, it wouldn't have mattered. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize you're in a construction zone, and to realize you need to slow down.

I am native. I was born here.
I like all dogs I meet, and some people too.

Your family immigrated here at one point though. Natives trace their family heritage to a particular nation. Being born in a country (especially the US) doesn't make you a native. It makes you a resident.

I see you are not into trucking then. These trucks load around here so I know more than you think.

I've only been driving for 13 years, so I guess that means I know knothing, right? That makes 2 fails on your behalf in this thread. You're on a roll. But you know more than what I think.

As I said, this job isn't rocket science. You don't need to speak fluent english to realize you're in a construction zone. You don't need to speak fluent english to see stopped traffic either. I'm not saying this driver didn't screw up, I'm saying your judgements are way off the scale considering you don't know anything about this driver, and judging a majority of truckers in a particular sector because what you see a FEW of them do is beyond ignorant.

And for your Texas comment: Texas belonged to Mexico long before us white boys grabbed a hold of it. The same goes for most other states in the south west. Better recheck the history books.
