i break the law through there every time by hitting the 3rd lane because that area is so dangerous. Same deal on the south bound side, everybody looks for a truck to cut in front of to get off.
It is amazing those people survived!!

sponsored links In Charlotte (and MANY Cities) number 1 and 2 lanes are supposed to be only for 4, 6 (and 8--Buses) wheeled vehicles HOWEVER these lanes ARE AVAILABLE FOR COMBOS when the number 3 and 4 lanes are corrupted by vehicles jamming up to get to a off ramp, ESPECIALLY when traveling I-85 SB above the I-77 get out.
IT'S SAFER to use the number 1 or 2 lanes regardless of "over 3 Axle restriction".
AVERAGE SPEED on I-85 in Charlotte IS NOT 60.
Try 70 and above for ALL vehicles!!

The upside of this wreck is that those in the 4 wheeler get another chance to screw up and hopefully they've learned what not to do.
