A 13-6 will fit under any bridge on the BQE. The exception is the east side where trucks must exit. This accident wasn't at that place. Looking at the photos, it doesn't look quite like the BQE to me. I usually see it at night, maybe that's why. Or perhaps the truck took an exit?

    Cool

thats definitlet the BQE, the bridge is the Brooklyn bridge. the one pic shows a partial street sign that says Cadman Plaza. You can fit all the bridges through there with a 13'6". He is pulling a 20ft container, maybe he got it rocking and it caught the bridge,

New York's bridge heights are different anyway. I have been on the BQE both directions with a 13'6" truck and trailer and never had a problem with any of the bridges even on the east bound side where it says trucks must exit.

The reason for the exit of trucks is because that short stretch is considered a parkway. Or so I have been told.
