Thanks fartknocker, that old Roadway White Road Boss longnose #9258, I probably drove at one time or other. My favorite truck of all time even though they rode awful because they had a rubber block suspension. Wasn't the trucks fault, that was Roadways spec. If they had springs on the back they would have rode good. Had 318 V8 Detroit with a ten speed Roadranger. They turned around 2300 RPM and ran 72-73 on the flats. If I remember right they were still using the Bostrum hydraulic seats then which in my opinion were far superior to air seats.
