Rumors are flying once again on how this new pay scale will work, the new rumor is. Those who are topped out will be dropped to the top of the new "competitive" scale. Cuz u all know they will not raise the wages hahahhaa. So this way there will be only one top out pay in each tier group. Cuz up north, u have the pjax top pay, the vitran top pay
b4 the last cost of living raise and the top pay after the last cost of living raise. So to them its like getting everyone on the same page. This time u wil be making those who have been there for a while that has not got a raise " happy" . And those who have been topped out, pissed cuz they get a decrease in pay. . I dont know boys... Whats your input on this one.......

if i get a deduction then i'll calculate how much time i need to drag the anchor to recoup it back, that's all. if that timetable on turning the company around in a year or they'll shutdown the u.s. operations is true, we won't have that long to complain about it. i think it's too far gone to bring it back around in a year, but well see.

If they cut me down that will tell me just what they think of the senior drivers, and all the years and experience we have must not mean a stinking thing to them, bet all the management will not take any pay cuts based on years of service to equalize them out.

I can tell you how much the flying V appreciates senior drivers before we know the new tier system...you guys are a problem. You get paid more to do the same job as guys who have not had a raise from base for four years. You guys are a bad deal for them. It sucks, but that is capitalism. When every extra board guy sits at home because freight is low they would love for the senior guys to quit. The job of a CEO is to get as much from the workers as possible with the least amount of pay.

A month and a half to go till next video, considering how much they claim to be saving on the restructuring of Line Haul, and now sharing P&D hours to cut overtime, we should be due a hefty raise. For my area, 1.5 to 2 bucks an hour would be about right (based on their starting wage, not seniority wage)
