Rudy Gulaino makes McCain look like a Neo conservative and Rudy is leading the polls. Kind of gives you a hint that maybe the conservative party might move toward the middle. Hey McCain can compromise isn't that just terrible. No real right winger wants that.

Gulaino is physically a conservative and a socially a liberal. As for your little dig at the right do you really think any left winger will compromise? They ALL try to get in the Middle while they campaign and then show their real positions after the elections. Remember this when you are deciding who you are going to vote for. The PAST will point to the FUTURE!

Yes I do think that average left wing constituents are more compromising than right winged. Did not used to but the last 7 years or so have changed my mind. I do think there are far left winged voters that attach themselves to the party just because of their personal purpose but on the average they appear more compromising to me.

Now THAT's the biggest joke of the whole year! The Left may LIE more, but the Left NEVER compromises. That's what Repubs do when they go along and govern like Dems, then get slammed for. When you compromise, you give up everything you stand for, and these last few years the Repubs have pretty much stood for nothing, while the Media carried the Dems water and the Lefists Dems simply stayed out of the way, allowing the Media to stir up the American Polulace against the Repubs. hence the Election Results, all based on the Dems running on Absolutely Nothing except they weren't Repubs.......

Tell me ANYTHING the Libs compromised on???? Global Warming? (No) How 'bout the TaxCuts? (No) The War????? (Still No) certainly not Federal Judges, (No) they almost philibustered over that............personally, I can't think of a thing.

Allow me to clarify this statement it refers to right wing voters. McCain made several political moves that was slanted in the press to be a compromise with the left. All I heard from right winged constituents that I know is how much of a traitor he was for doing it. I have stated and will state again that I always knew the republican politicians would not be the party that there supporters wished they were.

I am not talking about the politicians. I am comparing the constituents of the two parties.

I cannot understand you sparky. First, you say the left compromises more than the right and that must be good. Then you say the right compromises, but criticizes itself for doing so and that's bad.

My point is, the Right actually did do some good things in the House. They passed legislation that would send illegal aliens back to their country and make them go thru the legal process to come here. McCain, Hagel, Graham-- all Democrats in the Republican Party, quickly formed an alliance with the Dems to block that and see to it that Bush gets his wish to make illegals legal.

Bush compromised his base, again when he tried to put forth Harriet Miers, and called his own base prejudiced. Bush gave the Dems what they wanted in Medicare Drugs Benefits, allowed the law to be the one Kennedy wrote, but got blamed for it wasn't enough. Bush gave in to Daschle on expanded Unemployment. Bush gave in to Kennedy on the No Child Left Behind Act. Bush gave in to Dems on Katrina, in spite of the fact it wasn't the government's business. Bush gave in to the Dems on the 9/11 settlements. Bush didn't push the "Nuclear Option" of eliminating the illegal Filibuster in Confirmation Hearings. What we actually have here, is McCain, Lindsey Grahm, Chuck Hagel, and G W Bush are Dems posing as Repubs in the Repub Party. They give the Dems EVERYTHING the Dems ask for, and then some. But yet they are criticized by the Left as unyielding and mean. Makes no sense to me at all.......

I guess this is what we deserve for not having any Conservative Leadership in Washington! It sounds to me like I'm not alone, if you're hearing what I say from your co-workers. I'd probably get along with your co-workers! Sounds like more of the Silent Majority agrees with me after all.......
