If a person is intercepted at sea he/she would be sent back to there country of orgin.
If you set foot on land you can stay.If you were illegally dropped then you were sent back and criminal investigation would be undertaken.
So, the person in this article is an idiot! He admitted they were illegally dropped but, they are able to stay?

With the amount of manpower they had out there on this day this should not have happened.
On a normal day they have the following as i like to call it anti envasion obstacles.
this is a short list just in Broward county alone.
USCG (United States Coast Guard) Based in Dania Beach, Fl.They have all the big boy toys!!! Marine patrols by the following Police Departments:
Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, Ft.Laud, Broward County Sherriff's Dept, Lighthouse point & North Lauderdale.This includes almost constant air patrol.
So, who knows maybe we need a fully militarized beach.
