Maybe the President can cut off Federal funds to red states until they come to their senses.

Maybe the Governor and legislature would end up in Federal Prison if they did that.
How about those Republican Governors who yacked about secession?
Guess they didn't take that too far, either will holding back Washington's money which would be the same as succession.
Well it would make things interesting, tough on those interstate deliveries though.

OK well you ought to think about it after all you could lose your job because you never know whats going to happen the company might shut down from lack of profits.
Or they could hire illegals to drive the trucks, they don't stop to text message and they could get twice as many deliveries in LOL
Don't say it could never happen OH that couldn't happen! LOL

When Mitch Daniels(Republican) followed the OBannon/ Kernan Adminstration(Democrat) (Joe Kernan took over upon Frank Obannon's death), Indiana was in a recession and and in debt. Daniels DID raise taxes on the Rich (the law took effect for two years- had an ending date in it when it was adopted.). In his first month he cancelled every State-Union contract, and reopened bidding for State Services. He leased the Indiana Tollway to a private firm for the next 75 years, gaining Indiana enough revenue to repave virtually every road in the State, without having to borrow funds....

Then he Lowered taxes on everyone, switched local property taxes from paying for education to the state paying for education, established standard time zones so that business knew what time it was in Indiana (We didn't use to have Daylight Savings- so we were with the East half the time, with the Central half the time- wasn't our problem; we were on Eastern Standard- but the Businesses wouldn't come here due to the rest of the world switching....). Businesses relocated here because of our low taxes, and low workman's comp and low unemployment rules. That, plus our location as the 'Main-street of the Midwest' made Indiana a perfect place for warehouses and trucking companies.

Indiana, because of growing the economy thru lowering taxes, now has a Rainy Day Surplus, and is about the only economically stable state in the midwest.
