Occupy Wall Street Crowd and the Dem Party

Seems the Dems are embracing the leftist Occupy Wall Street crowd.

Pelosi on Occupy Wall Street Protesters: "God bless them" | The Weekly Standard

During a press conference Thursday afternoon, House minority leader Nancy Pelosi praised those participating in the "Occupy Wall Street" protests. "God bless them," Pelosi said, "for their spontaneity. It's independent ... it's young, it's spontaneous, and it's focused. And it's going to be effective."

At least one official is expressing support for the movement: Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who is holding a jobs town hall meeting on Thursday, reportedly has been distributing ponchos to the protesters to stay dry during the recent rain storm.

They were leftover ponchos from the census bureau. I still see people carry the canvas bags as purses in line at the grocery store paying for groceries with their EBT cards.

The “Occupy Wall Street” protests are garnering more institutional support, this time in the halls of Congress. Liberal congressmen have been coming out this week to voice their support for the demonstrations, whose actual demands remain unclear.

“All of us should join that movement,” California Democratic Rep. Barbara Lee said before the liberal Take Back the American Dream conference, according to The Hill.

Congressional Progressive Caucus co-chairs Arizona Democratic Rep. Raúl Grijalva and Minnesota Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison echoed Lee, asserting that they “stand with the American people as they demand corporate accountability.”

they like the govt, or at least they think they do.

Once the mission of the "useful idiot" is complete, they will be the first ones eliminated.

Trotsky (of course he got to live in exile until 1940 when Stalin had him eliminated)
