Because Obama screwed up..He let his mouth overload his azz..His inexperience told him to appease the masses and he would win,and it did..And now, it comes out as a lie..That's why the majority is saying,kissit and you got to go...Reagan never said he wasn't going to raise taxes, but when he did, he explained what it was all about and what caused it..What's Barry going to tell the public.."Oops, my bad"?

Lets go back to the tax rates we had under Clinton. Of course we need to go back to those levels of spending as well.
Govt spends too much. You cannot tax "millionaires and billionaires" making $250K enough to cover the trillion dollar deficit.

The difference between the party's is that Republicans want the middle class and the poor to pay more and the Democrats want the rich to pay more.
Thats the biggest difference and it depends on where you come down on those issues

The big difference is the Dems believe that everything belongs to govt. Every idea you have, every dollar you make. Barry pretty much said that as have others (Warren in MA)
The Dems dont want a middle class either. Middle Class people can take care of themselves and dont need the govt to wipe their butts. Dems need dependency. thus they want to rid the nation of the middle class. Independent thought not allowed, hope and change.

So yes, why don't we allow the wealthiest among us to dictate to us who is wealthy! Let us make sure that we elect representatives that do not now or have ever have had their feet firmly on the same earth as we have to walk on. When you can't get the original Federal Reserve bill passed because it was once named after a Republican...rename it the Federal Reserve and have Republicans say they hate it. It is not "Federal" and there are no "Reserves" to it. It took both Republicans and Democrats telling everyone that they were against the Federal Reserve Act to actually get it passed. The GOP elects the rich, the DNC elects the rich.....there is not a dimes difference between them. Both are out for themselves and it all comes down to money. The love of money is actually the root of all kinds of evil. And yes, I believe it is that basic when you boil it down. But by all means keep clouding the waters, you might get a few to listen to you. We are only the filter that the wealthy send their money through when it needs cleaned up....at 18% interest.

There is still a tiny bit of time to reverse this IF Tea Party Types are elected in enough numbers to oust Repub RINO leadership and reverse course to more responsible governance. We may only have time for this One Coming Election; but with Prayer and Miracles- it CAN be done!

Oh, there is no limit to what we could get done. But there is that big word IF. We could turn this thing around in no time....IF we allowed Americans to keep what they have earned. But that is the problem with the Tea Party....it changes! I was in it early on, went to rallies and gave money to it. I remember when Scott Brown was elected and everyone thought that the Tea Party had gain a huge victory replacing Dead Ted with a Republican. Except he turned out nearly as liberal as Dead Ted.

When this actually boils down to wherever it is going, what are we going to do if the only thing they understand is open confrontation? And when that happens, who's side do you think the military will be on? They are sworn to uphold the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic. What if the biggest enemies of the Constitution are our elected officials in Washington DC? Will the military remove them?

"It can't happen here". That is the quote I believe and I agree..... if the Constitutional Limits of Government are in place. Our elected officials have been working toward to get free of these limits for a long, long time. We have an attack dog that has been adding links to his chain for over 200 years now, until the Constitution has become a ceremonial document that many believe has out lived its practical application.

Limited Government, smaller Government, more efficient Government and a Government that conserves its power to rule over us. I don't know if there are that many Americans that actually think like this anymore, but I am a relic from the past that believes that what worked at the founding of our country will work today and that is putting the chain back around the neck of Government and telling them: "This is as far as you go and no farther. If you step over that line there will be hell to pay."

That is called radical patriotism and I don't know if Americans today have the stomach for it. And that includes most Republicans.

Lets not. There is no getting out of where we are headed as long as the wealthy run everything. That includes both Democrat and Republican wealth. As long as it is the rich who run the country (Democrats included) they will find way to keep themselves exempt from paying a higher tax rate. They may do it by starting their own foundations and taking the money out of their right pocket and putting it into their left pocket, but they are not going to pay more in taxes. You will never force true wealth to do anything at all!

And I don't agree with you. It doesn't matter if it is Romney or Obama, they are both members of the world political elite. They don't represent those who vote them into office and that is us for the most part. If you want to keep believing in the hoax that there is a difference between Democrats in Republicans, you go right ahead. All this proves to me is that you have bought into the lie that we are self Governed. Just like the Republican who waves their flag on the 4th of July.....flags that were sewn together in Vietnam.

What happens after that is that we actually go into a depression. We get to watch as America gets drug down into the same conditions that the rest of the world is living in. This will sober the country up when they can no longer feed their families while the illegal runs around carrying their foodstamp cards, still eating. Law enforcement will become transparent to all and we will be able to see that they are a revenue collection service for local governments. People will become fully dependent on the Government for everything, those in office will no longer have past administrations to blame for everything. Americans are going to get angry and the military and police will have to chose between serving the public or serving the Government official. They will choose to serve who signs their paycheck.

America will become a short lived experiment in freedom and future historians will take the liberal path and find ways to erase our freedoms and economic successes from the history books. 230+ years and it will all be over. Liberals will blame Conservatives, Democrats will blame Republicans but the truth is we are all to blame. We and all our political arguments will be buried with us one day all because American decided it is better to argue with each other that to band together and grab our officials by the balls and start putting the pressure on, reminding then that they work for us and they had dammed well better had never forget that. We will find ourselves in the same debtors prisons that Great Britain invented to keep the population under control.

The only way to turn this around is to start impeaching and imprisoning Government officials for violating the Constitution.....that is impossible because most Americans wouldn't know the Constitution if it bit them in the ass.

He's following accept practices when there is a deep recession you spend money into the economy to both stimulate and to help those who lost out.
You could imagine if one of your guys had the job and never increased help to the States and help to people needing to eat.
It would get ugly fast.

Has spending the way out of a depression ever worked? Seems its caused but more pain and suffering because Obama won't let the economy grow.
