so "the best" may not be hiring in your part of the country.

and frankly, none of them are the best for newbies.

you go, do your time, then leave for a company closer to your home. put in 1 to 2 years with ONE company.

Haha I meant the best in your opinion...of course they won't hire new drivers right off if they are the best period.

    kiwiray down under.

That's why I was just asking in your own opinion. Of course everyone is going to have their own opinions about everything and I am going to form my own as well!!

A company you can trust who won't cheat you?
Or a company that is going to still be in business till you are old enough to retire?

Any of those in your own opinion! Did you have any really good or really bad experiences with any company? And why?

    Schneider.
Inquired about a old D.U.I. (8-91) BEFORE FILLING OUT THE APP. (12-08), and they (recruiter or safety) stated it wouldn't be any problem.
AFTER all paperwork sent in, got phone interview where (1 DUI in '8-91) it'll be a problem with our insurance carrier.
I gave him a nice profane sign off then hung up.

Regardless of the above, I still recommend Schneider.

A company that knows how to pinch their pennies, and always generate a profit.

The one who gets you home the most.....pays the most....and has the least BS to put up with. That company has changed management and they are like all the rest. Peterson Produce out of Oxford WI, under the management of Cletus Peterson was the best of the best to work for. His son does not see things as his father did.

Schneider wouldn't hire me. The only thing I had on my app was college, trucking school and the US Army. 0 accidents.
