Time to call them out....just to call them out.
Rossen Reports: Are carnival games cheating you — and your kids?
That's not surprising at all
Cool topic Dockworker, and you posted it at prime carnival season.

Cool tips but carny games are almost always a rip off.
Normal looking games that are tweaked to the point of impossible. (Basket ball hoops being smaller than normal, ring toss with the ring just barely fitting, etc.)
Not many people realize you have to play the normal looking game in an unorthodox way and have to rely on physics and timing to land a win.
Chances of winning are slim like the lottery.
You really have to watch a carny's move after he demonstrates how to play. See if they take something away, add something, give you a different set of balls etc.
I will say that some Carnival carny games aren't always rigged. Just the majority of them.
This thread is just for fun and awareness. I always watch others play, we go to the Carnival to have fun and take our chances on the game.
The other thing about those games are the prizes.
When I worked city at Overnite I used to deliver those big stuffed animals.
They are very cheap, made in Taiwan,so even if you should win, which will cost you a few bucks.
The carny always makes out.
You got it Dockworker.
Once we had a bag that was crushed and split open from a pallet that fell on it,in route.
There was (2) large stuffed teddy bears per bag,in that bag both were trashed.
Well we could see the straw sticking out of the seams.
had they been stuffed with the stuff that is used in pricier stuffed animals they may have been okay.
