    Be careful. There have been over 20 men who left from Kansas City last year to work the oil fields in North Dakota. Theses are mostly owner/operator jobs. Most of the 20 have returned to YRC with many horror stories to tell.

    Most from what I read is Fraking (Natural gas from shale) Still illegal in NY. Penn and other states legal. Money 60+ /yr. Pulling water from mines. Looking into it myself. (our PENSION FUNDS are done anyway). Best of Luck!

    Yeah those OO will burn you every chance they get. My brother works for a company, so Its going good for him. 2800 every 2 weeks after taxes. Im considdering going myself.

    Better make sure they provide housing or a place to rent at a reasonable rate, saw on TV that rent is very high due to demand.

    If I were going to go that route I would pick up an RV to live in. Rent would get old pretty quick.
