Why do they build them like that, particularly in a northern state where snow happens? And why can't they add some rubber enclosures so the wind doesn't come howling through all the time?

If they put doors on them they would only get ripped off every week when open them with the forklifts, so why bother.

Stupidity. And $ Our terminal they put doors on, but only put seals on the north side. So snow blows in on the south side of the dock. But hey think of all the $ they saved by not buying 50 dock seals!

Layed off another last friday, daily bill count at it's lowest in two years, another layoff looming this friday, bill count dropped overnight, hoping it picks up soon. Hope things are better at your terminal.

New to the board but been with company for 14 years. I worked at Spartan here in Macon and Viking Freight bought us out and not even two years later, walked in and shut us down on the spot. I'm at 414 with YRC ,we are a small terminal but we have very poor management. We have guys on lay off and they are working us our 11 1/2 hours plus more. Our TM picks and chooses where he wants to go for pick ups, holds freight for 2 and 3 days. Tells "little white lies" to customers about their freight and some of the customers refuse to use us because of him. We are loosing freight left and right and we can't get anyone to see that. Who do you call when no one will listen? We have a TM that can talk his way out of anything. So if anyone has any advice, I'm all ears..
