We had a guy at 205/BUF that got hired last Friday. (1st day) He got a yard bid today. Thats how desperate we are for drivers. Pretty sad.

So I'm guessing were going by the old Yellow rules where seniority prevails. 7 or so years ago, talking with a couple of Roadway Brothers at one of my dailies, they told me that CDL qualified drivers were forced to bid a CDL bid, even if a burned out city man wanted a dock bid.
The 2 new hires at 309 quit with the quickness. Go sox!!
had a new hire start the other day and the supervisor said we got a trailer to break that has his name all over it. A 1,000 rug trailer (not the little ones) that had to be finger printed & sorted to 5 different customers. Poor guy went on his lunch break and never returned or answered his phone again.
Good worker this guy was but i guess he thought dock work in his mind meant not getting off the forklift![]()
The lions share of pay and benefits are given to the 710 family and friends plan at the house of Flynn.![]()
