Well if you listen to the guys around here there's only about 6 or 7 real teamsters left.................![]()
We just had our new senority list posted at 135 yesterday. Our master list dropped from 772 last year to 652. THat's 120 guys gone in 1 year. And they sure were not all retirees. I moved up 17 ,but lost 103 behind me.
Everybody from all terminals post your senority total here so we can try to see just how many jobs all these give backs have saved! I asked our ATM yesterday if he knew how many total teamsters still worked for YRC Freight. He didn't really know ,but guessed around 20,000. I think it's lower than that.

That's a heck of reduction in numbers..
I was #86 on Dock/P&D at Yellow in 1997
Today combined YRC 68 on Board
OKC/531
That is one of our city drivers 2 million miles.
Also state champion several times
You Guys also just went through a COO that moved how many jobs South?
I think it was less than 20 that took that COO
Again.i will say that this coo is still a little messed up.we got the dirty end of the stick here at 511.alot more foreign drivers come into our barn.almost like our work was stolen from us.then more sleepers were added.morale is broken down again
Foreign drivers, like non-union from Canada or Mexico or do you mean brother Teamster drivers that work for YRC, that just don't happen to be from the 511 area?
Foriegn driver?? Must be nice to work at a terminal that gets "foreign" drivers,, I remember the days when we would get those guys,, never broke morale at my old barn, maybe took a little time to rememebr their names but never broke morale..
