The company is now utilizing Open Scan’s software to consolidate the expenditure involved in extractive payment data from remittance images.

YCRW is one of the world’s largest transportation services providers. As such, their accounting department deals with a large volume of wholesale payments at various lockboxes. Previously, the use of these lockboxes meant paying banks tens of thousands of dollars each month in re-occurring data extraction keystroke fees. Until recently, the only other valid alternative to this process was the use of in-house processing systems, which would take valuable resources away from the organization. Is it not cost effective for our own IT people to come up with a similar system inhouse?that way costs could be more easily controlled from within.plus this process wouldnt take our people from other valuable resources and time.to me this idea is logical.plus the company wouldnt have to expose our numbers to others outside of the company.dont get me wrong.the process the company has come up with.is good also.i think it would be better inhouse.maybe in the future possibly.
