I'm sure the old Yellow Terminal is located in a better spot and is bigger and more efficient than whatever Roadway had.
From what I here 251is moving to yellows old terminal on south ave in toledo ohio, this should be a massive cluster**** of epic proportion.First of all the guy running the show over there cant run a snow cone machine ,much less a large move such as this,he will undoubtedly be taking directions from someone who has a clue,hopefully..I also understand from a reliable source that they are throwing away things that could easily be sold ,but you dont have too think too much to throw stuff away,I revert back to the snow cone machine comment....Hey guys, watch some of your 15% go down the highway in a dumpster.Maybe someone over there needs to make a phone call to Mr Welch and give him a little info, heck ask him to call the terminal and ask for Mr Mc,just make sure you tell him to call before 11am or else he'll have to start calling the local bars to find him.Good Luck guys you are going to need it......

Obviously, you don't have a clue! Do some research than read your last post !Originally Posted by the Dime

Seems like its company policy,, as for the POS on South, get real, 1/3 the size, no garage, 4 miles from the interstate, and its not the employees that you have to worry about stealing the freight, not to mention a half open half enclosed dock.. Another brilliant idea.. As for Mc, you right want to call before 11 am, but rumor has it hes not long for 251 and has his sights set on the Carolinas.. but thats just rumor
Why is the move a bad one? Only 4 miles from the toll way, compared to 13. Pad accesable to triples only 7 minutes away. 251 is a waste for the amount of loads that are built there. Where is the down side, maybe a little farther for you to drive to work?
Never said toll road, they are both about the same distance froma toll road, 251 was almost a stragiht shot to 75, left on Aleix and your pretty much on 75 eitherway north or south, the yellow slum has to go through a good neighborhood, ton of stop lights, no yard so to speak, no garage, and did I mention the great neighborhood?? And besides why would an eol need the toll road?? its not like they are sending alot of trucks on the highway or getting alot of trucks, granted an eol didnt need a 220 facility with a major garage, but the highway access was about as good as it could get considering the area.. If Yellows location was so great in Toledo why were there no other lines close by, and why was it for sale for 4 years without even an offer?? Not to mention the cost that its going to take get the Yellow terminal operational.. Oh thats right our 15% will cover that..
