But, if you care to look up some union victories in the past years, look up International Brotherhood of Teamsters and click on recent organizing victories. plus, after 15 years of Fedex in court, the judges ruled in favor of unions. Fedex ground is organizing now plus UPSF. The Yellow, Roadway, Abf and soon to be UPSF are union. That is 4 of the top 5 LTL companies in the country. Plus the #1 package company, UPS while DHL is organizing now. The goons you refer to was over 50 years ago. You are entitled to your opinion but do some research first before writinf false statements down. Remember...if it was not for union members, you would be paid like third world employees and hardly any benefits while your CEO and company would make billions....I am not bashing your opinion or yourself, just trying to see if you can see the good of unions.... |
Organizing failures: Con Way Chicago
Red Star Office in Phiiladelphia
When Fed Ex geta a contract I will call it a victory same for other organizing.
i have more but you get the picture.
As for my job I am self employed and I have several drivers that work for me. I treat them better than union carriers.
Name a carrier that makes billions________
If you operate at a 95 in the LTL business you're a genius.
There are 5 major carriers in the NMFA 4 are owned by 1 corporation, the other being ABF
YRC is having a so so year and Wall St. is tiring of them.
My guess is they will be shut down in 5-7 years.
My point is every teamster company is closed except for those 2. I am beginning to see a pattern here. Every closed teamster company is replaced by a better run non union carrier thus forcein more pressure on teh remaining union carriers.
It is over.
