I don't see it happening very soon either.... I read on a UPS post that an analyst projected that the Teamsters COULD gain 15,000 new members in the parcel unit for existing jobs & potential new ones with UPS success in merging air & ground domestic services

You are probably right that OD won't be organized in the near future. That will be up to the workers to decide. But if the IBT is successful with UPSF, then it won't be long before the Fed Ex workers will be looking to join the union & enjoy the same job security, pay & benefits that the Teamsters offer

Organizing will take time & it won't happen without the majority of the workers wanting it.
