If you don't mind me asking nagoose what is your hourly wage?

Everyone knows the price of health care in this country is out of control, costs,of health care services, and drugs only go up,never down.

If you really give it some thought you can see that companies aren't getting any profit from any of their benefit investment for their workers.
Retirement pension plans are workers getting paid for not doing any work.

With all that said, you have to factor your wage on how much your company puts into your benefit package as well as your hourly pay.

Some companies outside of our industry don't even offer anything outside of the hourly wage for their workers.

Now as far as the union.
All of your hourly,or milage pay,and your benefits have to be bargained into a contract agreeable with your company.

Just signing cards, and joining any union doesn't automaticly change any of your concerns.
Its just a starting point.

This maybe just my opinion take it,or leave it.
I'm a UPS Freight city driver just offering my $.02 cents on this forum.
