Red face Co driver or O/O??

Hey guys,

Well Im looking for some info. / advice.. I am currently a mixer driver with a class A doubles and triples and tankers endorsments.

I am interested in hauling regional. Reefer, tankers with no hazmat, flatbed, no matter.. I am just wondering why its so hard to get in without the 2yr OTR experience unless I want to buy one of their trucks? Which leads me to my next tangent, whats better, Co. driver or O/O?

I don't mind the O/O part as I have a mind to manage a business, yet I am GREEN to the industry and don't want to get taken. I see freight brokers out there and seem to understand what they are about and I think there are companies out there to handle the accounting department for me... So what gives?

Hell I don't mind hauling dirt neither, like I see a lot of guys out here doing with their own tractors..

Any insight is appreciated.
