Default Lexington Update

OK Vitran employees, here is what has happened here in Lexington.
A anti union driver over the weekend called several of the pro union drivers and cursed and threatened them. This genius even had the brains to leave a threat of physical violence on the answering machine of one of the drivers he called. Police were notified legal action being considered by the threatened driver.
Folks you need to ask yourself if this had been the other way around how fast do you think the offending party would have been terminated????
Vitran has a obligation under OSHA regs to provide a "safe and healthy work environment"
In this man's opinion the only way to do that in this case is to terminate the employee that made threats against his fellow employees.
Time will tell if Vitran is indeed concerned enough about there employees to do the right thing or will they let this go!!!! We need to contact HR with this as well to put some more heat on them!!!!
