I know the start times for companies can be different, but i mean what are the average start times for most big trucking companies? The reason i ask this is cause i drive a Ready Mixer(Cement Truck) and with concrete we start early like 6am(maybe not to some, but to me early) (plus i commute) anyway the reason i ask is cause a friend of mine works for Con-Way Western in Hayward, Ca and he says he starts at 11am everyday and i drive by the terminal on my way to work and take loads and drive by and all their tractors are still parked and haven't left and it'll be 8am. Also, when i applied for ODFL they said they start around 7 or 8am, anyway my question is do a lot of trucking companies like Con-Way, Dats Trucking, Old Dominion, ABF, Yellow, Oak Harbor, etc. start later in the day or earlier? If people could respond let me know(about what company u work for and what time u start)it would be appreciated.
