Less than half voted on the last NMFA & everyone B**ches how bad a contract we have. Don't vote, Don't B**ch ought to be this contracts motto. We need more people voting, PERIOD.

NO MORE CUTS IN OUR H & W.... If our H & W isn't up to par, get it there!! & after we vote no more cuts, DON'T CUT IT!!! Our petty raises in the last contract were, annihilated by the H & W debacle.

The two-tier pay will always be apart of the contract & it s not just the company that wants it. There are a bunch of drivers that still believe that this type of tier pay is associated with their seniority rights & in someway it is. I personaly could care or less if a drivers comes in @ full pay, it would probably help us. No more giving the better runs to 80% guys, these workers would be more apt to run legal, & they might get more involved in Union activity. We can't keep stomping on the less senior workers & expect them to be there when we're trying to make a strong impact, its not going to work.

We need to get rid of these phony Grievence proceedings & get some that will work! Our state grievences are only as good as the mood the Company & Union are in on that day, & thats not what they were intended for. The companies use to hate going to state hearings, & now they are all good friends (Union & Company). You can't get a fair grievence hearing if both parties have been there for 2-3 days partying with each other. I know this post won't make all happy, but your grievences are pretty much decided on way before you get there. The state grievence boards have had a pretty good run for awhile, maybe its time we change some personnel representing us.
wow your right on the money I agree with you 100% Just heard on the radio overall food costs are up eight percent, couple that with rising energy and I don't think a 40 or 50 cent increase in the wages is going to fly..I also think that whatever UPSF finally settles for will be the basis for our contract...
