The person in question appears to be a mexican national so there goes your statement in regards to "Mexicans don't have to prove anything" Comment. What do you think this person was doing with almost $24,000? ...... Let me guess he was transporting it (money) to St. Jude Hospital for children for donation purposes. If you believe this i would like to sell you a dog named clue so that you will have one.
The Feds have set the limit of verifiable money at $10,000 and some states have even set there limits for smaller amounts of cash on hand. IT IS NOT ILLEGAL TO HAVE LARGE AMOUNTS OF CASH LAW ENFORCEMENT JUST WANTS TO KNOW WHERE IT COMES FROM.

Lastly anything the aclu supports just has to be wrong. Are you upset because you or someone near and dear to you is a "Money mule"?
What a fool. If I or any of my relatives had money or were money mules, WTF would I be hanging out here? Do you realy believe that just because ONE mexican got caught, that makes the rest of them ok. Boy have got a bunch of stuff to sell to you. Look around. There are FAR more illegal mexicans here than legal. At least the legal mexicans are working and paying taxes. ONE crooked mexican does not count for all. This guy will get pushed thru the system. A team of lawyers or the ACLU will pick up the case and THEN he will not have to prove anything. As I said, why should WE have to prove where we got our money? If you won the lottery would you walk around with a big banner telling everyone you won the lottery? NOT! But just to be sure, why not walk around with that banner telling everyone how much money you do have on you?
