The thing that really irks me about all this discussion about multi-employer pensions, is that no Teamster Union Officials that I know of, have come out in defense of our multi-employer funds! Where's the IBT and our Local Officials when we need them to DEFEND our MULTI-EMPLOYER PENSION PLANS? What happened to all the UNITY AND SOLIDARITY that our UNION is supposed to have?! Let's once again keep focused on the fact that "A HARM TO ONE IS A HARM TO ALL" and that these individual employer attacks on our funds is an attempt to divide and conquer our union! Let's let NO employer alienate their employees against the thousands of other Teamsters in the same or different crafts who are members of the same pension plans! Once again let's stay united and "fight the power"!
