The other day I was a winner of the the quarterly "P" lottery. I finally gathered up my paperwork and went up to the clinic at Jubetz Truckstop.
The "receptionist" took my paperwork and said "follow me." He then put my paperwork on the counter and gave me the instructions which included "Just put the sample next to the paperwork." (the sink is behind this counter) I go and do my thing. When he comes back in he grabs the sample cup and does the split sample. I about fell over as he doesn't bother to put on gloves, just pours (over the counter) and seals the bottles picks up the same pen that I used and finishes up the paperwork. Heads out the door never washing his hands or even giving the counter a wipe down.
As I am walking out (heading to the restroom to rewash my hands) I am thinking that maybe I should have told him about that puss laden sore I have on the "Big Unit." Bet that would have had him washing real fast.
Sort of reminded me about the video that was floating around about the hotel maids and the lack of sanitation awhile back. I intend to send a letter to the clinic director and see what kind of response I get.
And everyone thinks truck drivers are slobs.
